18/365

Unimaginative, a lot like last night, but Daddy was very against me getting on the computer again to edit it and upload it, so I had to make it snappy.

Maybe it's over edited. Oh well. This is a really cool book. It's got lots of interesting stuff in it. I discovered again tonight that as long as there's spaghetti around, I'm not to be trusted as a thinking human being. I seriously couldn't think about much else for a couple hours this evening. Just about how good it tasted and how I wished I could eat more.  What a weirdo.

15/365

Lovely little calves today.

11-14/365

We went to Rhode Island. Fun weekend, that. We left Thursday with Justin to go down to Clover and Evan's, then went to RI with a stop at Turning Stone for another little show. They had really good roast beef. And free sodas. Lots of free sodas. Friday we hung around and went to Wickford with Betty. Then when Abby got home and Ty got there we went and visited Amy at work, which was great fun, :P went to the beach, had a fantastic steak dinner, played basketball, and finished the evening off with some Taboo. Saturday was a diner for lunch, wiffleball, another visit with Amy, a soopa good dinner, Scattegories, singing, and making our lunches for Sunday. And a search for an open Walmart. Sunday we went to special meetings and then came home an interesting way, as in, it took forever. All in all, it was a totes awes weekend. Two weekends in a row with Amy!!

A dogwood tree near the house that Evan and Justin had to hang a bit of sheetrock in on the way out. GAH I love those trees. I wish there were some up here.

A ducky-woo in Wickford.

Boring picture for Saturday. I had taken a picture of the piano and stuff, but it didn't turn out well. I had taken a picture of the mirror in the kitchen though, so I had to use it.

Last night at home. Boring, but I really love my room.

It's rather cold today compared to last week. We became pansies, I guess. The high today was 34. It snowed while we were on the bus. Annnnd I kinda didn't have my window totally shut on accident. It's chilly in there. In other news, Baylor lost to Kentucky and Syracuse lost to Ohio. I'm sad. And this is a good song. I think of it whenever I see dogwoods, so it's relevant here. So ha.

It was a spectacularly lovely day, once again. This picture's a little dark, but I don't want to mess with it, because I love the sky. So.

There were gorgeous clouds today!

Saturday Morning

Saturday really was absolutely spectacular. Gah. So here's pictures. I'd rather go back outside right now, and they're self explanatory, so no descriptions.

7/365

This is a picture taken in the dark, with a really long shutter speed. Because I kinda lost my camera, since someone told me to put it somewhere safe while the kids were around, and I can't for the life of me remember where I thought it would be safe. Anyways, it was a beautiful day, sunny and all. I got strep though. So I couldn't go to meeting or dinner at Connie's. No corned beef and cabbage dinner for me. Oh well! I'm on medicine, so I should be able to eat normal food soon. I have to be better to go to RI this weekend!!!!

6/365

It was a glorious, busy, beautiful day. This morning it was foggy and misty and sunny all at once, so the golden sun was spectacular. I went out and took pictures for a while. IN A TANKTOP. It was 40 degrees. At 7:30. Craziness. Today was a sugaring day. Last of the year! The Barkleys came up for the day, Caleb came, Amy and Betty were here, and Matt, Brianna and Mercedes came for a visit. Just a good day in all.
This is the field on the other side of the barn in the sunlight with the mist rising off it. And all the fences with the water droplets.

5/365

Amy's here, and so when I realized tonight that I needed a picture, she so nicely helped out. :P She thought my wooden plane would be nice. So here's Amy's hand, my curtains, and my plane.

I actually don't like today's picture much, but we went to the musical and I have a headache. AMY'S COMING TOMORROW!!!! But I don't get excited or anything. :) And tomorrow we don't have school, so I can sleep in!!

3/365

I never noticed that the one row was shiny paperbacks and the other was mostly matte hardcovers. I guess you learn something new every day!

Tomorrow is only a half day, but I have the pre-licencing class tomorrow, so I actually get done later than usual. At least it'll be out of the way! And then we have no school on Friday!!!! Amy and Betty are coming. :)

1/365

We got new internet today! It's wicked fast AND free and unlimited. So I no longer have to worry about uploading pictures putting us over our internet. So I'm starting a 365 project. I'll do a longer post later, but here's today's picture for now. Evan and Clover are up for sugaring today. Quite lovely and all. I went for a walk, then sat in the sugar shack while they boiled, then we all went up into the woods to collect sap, had Evan's birthday supper, they boiled more, and we brought Evan's cake to the sugar shack to sing. Fittingly, today's picture is the sugar shack roof. :)
