Farm Walk

Last Wednesday morning, before I left, I went for a walk around the farm, and saw the apple blossoms and lilacs and such. A fun time.

 I really loved the lighting in the row of maples. 

Like, so much loved it.

I love how the lilac bush is almost the size of the the house! 

So much lovely light.

Dahlias are seriously so awesome. Word.

Wednesday Walk, Week 2

I finished college! It's so exciting and all that! Now in just a few days I'll be heading out to ND, which is also exciting, but a bit scary. Anyhow, here are some pictures from a walk this week. 

I love this for no reason.

I attempted some more off-the-camera-macros.

Trillium! And the lens being off threw a light flare in, which might be utterly too hipster, or ok. Who knows, right?

Having the lens off makes the depth of field crazy narrow. Which can be pretty fun, but makes it really hard to focus! Anyhow, I like the tiny bit of the curling edge of the petals. 

I may be a flower geek. 

Wednesday Evening Walk

It's finally spring! With the last few sunny days the grass started growing and all. :) So Wednesday, after getting the house ready for meeting, I went on a walk to appreciate it. 

This screams summer to me, for some reason.

These are the final images I chose for my Digital Photography final portfolio! My series was farmy stuff in golden hour. So original! Anyway, I had fun with them.

I really love the curving shadows.
