Blog Circle: Thankful

I'm participating in a blog circle, which is a first for me. So I'm still learning, but I think it should be fun. Or at least a good challenge. This month the subject was Thankful. I wanted to do some cute little picture with the kids when they were thankful or something, But with this month being super crazy, what with the play and being sick and people being here. So I did a picture of something I'm thankful for instead. It's a picture of the cows in the field after we fed them. I'm thankful for living where we do and having cows and growing up on a farm. There's the house in the background, and I'm thankful for having a home and house where I'm warm and dry. And Owen and Ashley's house is hiding in the back corner, which I'm thankful for, because having family around is awesome. Bet and Justin are cool kids too. :)

32,33 and Other Such

They play is done! It was fun, but I'm glad it's over. And then we had a fun weekend. And stuff. Clover and Evan were up. We went to Fiona's recital. Alex was over. We had a bonfire, the Gordons were up, we made cookies, ect. Yesterday was all warm and stuff. It was nice. Also, I'm sick. But I'm on medicine now, so I'll get better. And on another note, this is all the writing I'm going to do, as I can't write in between the pictures, it will only write right-aligned, blue, and underlined. That doesn't look nice. So pretty much just know that the first picture is week 32, and the first picture of dead goldenrod is week 33. There.

Halloween, The Painted Bathroom, and Daddy's Lava Lamp

    It's been busy in a lovely way. Besides school. School is blah. Oh well! On Halloween we went to Bet's and took the kids trick-r-treating. On Friday we went to Ottawa with Ashley, went to Ikea, and met up with some people. Super fun! I had left my camera at Bet's on Wednesday, however, so I didn't get any pictures. But. It was awesome.

I mean HOW precious is she? 

And just cause black and white seemed fitting for an elephant. 

Daddy bought a lava lamp. He's quite taken by it. I love him.

The bathroom! Painted orange, an new-ish shower curtain, (as of Labor Day,) and the window trim painted.

  So this week is going to busy, and I have play practice everyday, since the play is this Thursday and Friday. Sooooo crazy! Clover and Evan are coming up! With the kids of course. Loads of stuff will be happening, what with Fiona's recital on Saturday and all. All in all, it'll be pretty fun! Also, it's definitely getting to be winter.

We went target practicing a couple weekends ago. It was super fun! :)

Last Sunday we went up to Patate Lablanc for poutine for lunch, and then drove around and saw Mum's house and where she went to school and all.

Cotten Kids and #30.

    Last week Bethaney wanted to take some pictures of the kids. So we ended up going around in the cold taking pictures of them and the fallyness. My camera was really really stupid that day. It didn't focus well, at all, and would take the picture like 10 seconds after I pressed the shutter. So. I had a limited selection of in focus pictures to choose from. But it's the kids so they're still cute pictures, even if poor ones. I'd caption the pictures or whatever, but we're painting the bathroom as a surprise for Mum. So we  need to tidy up all the stuff we took out this morning. Also, none of these pictures are edited. Some of them ought to have been, maybe, but I've been busy. And it was a really nice night. Even if it was snowing intermittently and the kids were frozen.
